Let’s look at some of these features in more detail!

Activity Tracking

The Fitbit Inspire HR obviously tracks steps, since that’s Fitbit’s bread and butter, but this device does much more than just steps! You can track steps, active minutes, distance traveled, and calories burned. Additionally, the Inspire HR’s SmartTrack technology automatically recognizes workouts such as walking, running, swimming, biking and more, and then records these activities in the Fitbit app on your phone. When you haven’t reached a goal amount of steps in a certain hour, the Inspire HR will also give you reminders to move, helping you reach your activity goals.  You can also set goals in over 15 different exercise modes for activities such as running, biking or yoga, and then get real-time updates once your goals have been met!

Health Tracking

In addition to tracking your activity, sleep and calories burned, you an use the app to track many other aspects of healthy living.  Food Logging allows you to log your meals and compare calories eaten to calories burned. You can also log your water intake to make sure you are staying hydrated enough. There is a female health tracker that lets women keep track of their periods and ovulation dates, a weight loss tracker for those interested in losing weight, and you can also track your resting and active heart rates over time.  Need to relax or just wanting to feel more Zen? Try one of the Inspire HR’s guided breathing exercises! The devices will create personalized breathing and relaxation sessions for you based on your heartrate.

Sleep Tracking

The Fitbit inspire will help you understand your sleep habits so that you can improve them and live a healthier life.  In addition to automatic sleep tracking, it also breaks your sleep down into stages, so you can see how much of each night is spent in the light sleep, deep sleep and REM stages, and provides pointers to help improve your sleep quality.  You can set goal sleep times which allows the watch to give you reminders when it’s time to start winding down for bed, and also set a silent alarm that will gently wake you with vibrations, rather than having to waking from the jarring sounds of an alarm clock.

Notifications

You can also use the Inspire HR to receive text and phone call notifications. When receiving a call, you can see the number or contact that is calling on the watch screen, or if you have missed a call, it shows that as well as who it was from. You can also receive text notifications on the watch screen as well, and it will show you the message content as well as who it is from. While you cannot answer phone calls or respond to texts from the watch itself, it is helpful if your are in the middle of a workout or busy doing something important, you know whether you need to check your phone or not without having to actually pick up the phone. This way, if it’s not from someone important, you can see that and just deal with the phone call or text later.

Overall, this is a highly functional activity tracker, and it comes at a great price for all the extras you get. If you aren’t looking to spend hundreds of dollars on a fancy smart watch, theFitbit Inspire HR is a fantastic alternative! fff
